Welcome to the CricBay finals that we have have been looking for despite all the rains and delays we have had.

Bronze Finals - Invincibles vs Evolution @ Sinnot - Softball [BB], Milpitas

Two teams that have double digit win this tournament are playing the finals and they looked like contenders for most of the tournament. Having won some tough games, they will not want to fall in the final hurdle. Both teams are playing finals for the first time (Invincibles in their very first tournament) Good luck to both and we expect nothing but a nail biter :-)

Silver Finals - Fighters vs Playpals @ Northgate Matting, Fremont

Third finals for Figters (all three are silver finals interestingly) and they have played like a higher division team that they are. If the entire roster is available at the finals, Playpals (who have been brilliant this season and playing their first finals) will have a game in their hands. But Playpals have beaten some of the good teams and know what it takes to win games like these. Should be a lot of fun watching this one.

Gold Finals - Absolute vs Stags @ Central Park, Fremont

5th finals for Absolute (2 platinum and 2 silver finals before this) and second one for stags. Absolute won a an absolute cracker of a game against them mighty Immortals in super over defending a below par score in Sinnott matting! But they are up against Stags with their allstar lineup of their own. Balachandra Ambiga has scored over 200 runs Ilyas has 24 wickets and one of the best all-rounders in the league Ravi Akula will have an opportunity to showcase his skills. Absolute has had someone stepping up every game.. Anvesh has 200+ runs and some of the old war horses have all chipped in. This one is a touch one to predict and should be a fantastic game.

Platinum Finals - Seamers vs Challengers @ @ Sinnot - Softball [BB], Milpitas

The two heavyweights of the league are playing this one. 10th finals for Seamers (6th Platinum finals) who have always been one of the contenders. since 2012 they have played at least one finals every year barring 2017. With their army of batters (Sanket Shah and Bhavin have 170+ runs, that man Chirag Jobputra little under 150 and none of them played all the games) and some very smart bowling unit led by new seamer Himesh , ever stingy Vishad and their wonderful former Captain Sagar. This team is surely one for the ages given their consistency over the years and is never easy to beat on most days let alone finals.

Challengers CC, possibly the greatest team of the league over the history of CricBay (still have 75% winning percentage having played in Platinum every year) .. have been quiet for last few tournaments.. while they have gotten into play offs, they somehow didn't manage to go deep. This is their 10th final and get this, 9th Platinum final!! and they have lost just twice in those finals. They didn't exactly have a great start to the season and continued to have player availability issues and showed us how champion teams do, it.. they do it by playing their best with whoever they have, give their very best, use all their experience and win those tiny moments and now they are in the finals. Abhishek Iyer and Sandeep Krishnegowda have done bulk of the batting but every other man in the team has chipped in at crucial moments and that is why they are here. Their bowling has done pretty well too with Praveen bowling his overs at almost 2.5 an over and now injury free Jayesh Patil doing what he does best. Here's a fun fact, Captain Divesh has a winning percentage of 85 over the years which is incredible given the format and how hard it is. This MUST be such an amazing feeling even for this champion team given all the struggle they have had.. Hoping to see another fantastic Platinum finals.

There will be snacks, drinks and lunch as always, goodie badgs for kids and a kids playing area
